Bridge Ward Nursing Role

The range of skills you can learn and develop while working on Bridge Ward is wide and varied, working in this environment can encourage you to become a dynamic, creative and strong leader as well provide you with the ability to think on your feet, problem solve and manage a challenging setting. This opportunity will be both challenging and rewarding, and the successful candidate will receive regular supervision and developmental appraisal, thus enhancing current practice and future career prospects. This post will suit a pro‑active practitioner who wants to make a difference for service users who have complex needs and will be able to lead and motivate nursing staff in the provision of high‑quality patient focused care. You will need to have excellent interpersonal skills that will enable you to challenge, motivate, influence and inspire your colleagues at all levels, and have an understanding of leading and managing a service. You will be expected to demonstrate good clinical assessment skills and to ensure a high standard of care is delivered on the ward. It is imperative that you can engage with carers and outside agencies as one of our main objectives is to support our service users to be able to participate confidently in the community with a variety of services.


Responsibilities

* Lead and motivate nursing staff to deliver high‑quality, patient‑focused care.
* Perform clinical assessments and ensure a high standard of care across the ward.
* Engage with carers and outside agencies to support service users’ community participation.
* Collaborate with teams and influence colleagues at all levels.
* Champion continuous improvement and development in practice.


Qualifications

* Proactive, experienced practitioner with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
* Strong clinical assessment ability and understanding of service management.
* Capacity to motivate, inspire and influence others.
* Experience working with complex needs service users and coordinating multi‑agency support.
