Cyber Software Architect / Team Lead

Role
As a Cyber Software Architect and Team Lead you’ll work closely with our clients to understand their mission needs and identify solutions that make, break, and secure systems across a variety of problem spaces. This work spans diverse technology stacks on multiple platforms, including Linux, Windows and Android, with environments ranging from small IoT devices, through to user equipment, servers and into the Cloud. You will be both hands on with technology and lead teams of talented individuals who together will nurture prototypes, build products and strengthen capabilities whilst ensuring always to meet the high demands of operational use.
The key requirements
You will need experience:
* Communicating with clients to understand their business needs.
* Architecting whole solutions and making key design decisions.
* Leading Agile teams in methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
You will be able to deliver solutions in:
* Software analysis and reverse engineering.
* Operating systems and security architectures.
* Embedded systems, firmware internals and hardware abstractions.
* Software from design to delivery in modern IDEs and languages.
Experience in supporting areas is also beneficial, which could include:
* AI and ML models and their usage.
* Cloud technologies, including AWS.
* Virtualisation, emulation and containerisation.
* Wireless communications and software defined radios.

Where you’ll work…
You’ll find our Romsey site located within beautiful Hampshire countryside, close to the picturesque New Forest and not far from a superb stretch of the south coast. This is no corporate concrete jungle; this is a manor house site, with on‑site parking, restaurant, gym and a driveway full of daffodils in the spring.
