Additional Learning Support Consultant - Maths

Salary: £50 for 50 minutes (lesson length)
Role outline and purpose:
The Maths Consultant will deliver focused and personalised mathematics tuition to students in need of additional support. The aim is to accelerate progress and help students meet or exceed expectations within the school’s mathematics curriculum.
This role requires availability primarily during school hours, with some flexibility to offer after‑school sessions when necessary to accommodate student needs.
Role Responsibilities:
* Deliver high‑quality small group or one‑to‑one maths tuition to students across Key Stages 3‑5.
* Support pupils who are underachieving in mathematics.
* Work collaboratively with the Head of Curriculum Support and EAL to identify learning gaps and set clear, achievable targets.
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated learning activities that complement the school’s curriculum.
* Provide regular feedback to parents, students and staff on progress and attainment.
* Maintain accurate records of attendance, interventions, and outcomes.
* Support pupils in developing confidence, resilience and positive attitudes towards maths.
