Role Description
This is a full‑time on‑site role based in Lincoln for a Technical Support Engineer. The candidate will be responsible for providing prompt technical support, assisting customers with troubleshooting and resolving heating system issues, and delivering exceptional customer service. The role involves diagnosing technical problems and heater repairs for our growing workshop and ensuring customer satisfaction through professional and well‑informed communication.
A successful applicant should be able to:
* Technical Support and Troubleshooting advice, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively with or without manufacturer documentation.
* Provide Excellent Customer Support and Customer Service skills to ensure clients receive helpful and professional assistance.
* Carry out repairs, complete workshop job cards and test reports professionally and with detail.
* Have good communication abilities, both verbal and written, to explain technical topics clearly to customers of varying technical proficiency.
* Knowledge of heating systems or related technical equipment is highly desirable.
* Hands‑on experience in technical or mechanical roles is a plus.
* Ability to work well in a team while managing tasks independently.
