Pay Rate: £14.00 to £15.00 Per Hour (Negotiable based on level of experience)
Our client, a key contractor within Highways Maintenance and Street Lighting is currently looking for Street Lighting Operatives / Street Lighting Technicians to work on their PFI contract with Northamptonshire Country Council.
The role will consist of working within Northamptonshire installing and maintaining columns for new street lighting, as well as other associated street furniture, signs, bollards and EV charging points etc.
Applicable candidates will have experience working in similar roles and be comfortable working different shift patterns to ensure work is completed safely, on site and to specification.
Daily duties will include:
1. Excavating the road/surface prior to the installation of street lighting / street furniture / EV points
2. Completing testing, repair and maintenance works as required
3. Assisting Street Lighting Electricians with fault finding and repair
4. Ensuring work is carried out to RAMS, identifying and reporting on safety issues at all times
