Principal Geo-Environmental Engineer

Role Overview
Your primary responsibilities will include geoenvironmental site investigations, both fieldwork and report writing. You must comply with all relevant UK Health & Safety legislation, as well as any general, task-specific, or site-specific procedures established by the Company.
You will report to the Associate Directors/Directors, with performance reviews conducted throughout the year and upon the completion of significant projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Review and approve proposals in coordination with an Associate Director/Director
* Maintain communication with clients to keep them informed of project progress before final reports are issued
* Manage all types of site investigations
* Brief and mentor junior staff involved in SI activities
* Produce and review drawings for reports and search requests
* Review data and prepare the Desk Study/'front end' of SI reports for all sites
* Organise and supervise Geotechnical Investigation activities on brownfield sites and intrusive mining investigations, acting as Lead Engineer on sites with staff
Candidate Requirements
* Extensive experience within ground investigation consultancy
* Proficiency in report writing and review
* Full UK Driver's license
* Legal right to work in the UK
* Willing to live and commute to the Leeds area
