Are you an experienced and dynamic Operative looking for your next position?
As the successful Operative, you will report to the Site Manager and will be responsible for undertaking all site duties safely, understanding CRH and SHE safety protocols. You will work in various areas including raw materials, storage, production, dispatch, and housekeeping.
Please note that this position requires you to work on a shift pattern of 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm, and 10pm - 6am.
Main Responsibilities
On a day-to-day basis, duties of the Operative will include (not exhaustive):
* Meeting daily production targets
* Reporting data for quality purposes
* Moving, loading, and unloading products from the plant and vehicles
* Meeting customer service requirements with accurate loading and timely vehicle turnaround
* Contributing to continuous performance improvement
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal Operative will have proven experience in a similar production and dispatch environment. Experience in the following areas would be advantageous:
* Good communication skills and numeracy
* Mobile plant licence for diesel counterbalance forklift truck
* Strong teamwork skills
* Manual handling experience (a bonus)
This role is based at our Swains Park plant in Swadlincote, Derbyshire. The site is accessible from nearby towns and cities.
