Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable, dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at The Bull Inn. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout our hotel including the public areas such as the bar and restaurant. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional customer service while ensuring that all areas are kept to the highest standards of hygiene and presentation, ensuring that our guests enjoy a comfortable and welcoming stay.
Responsibilities
* Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities, ensuring all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, and mopped as necessary.
* Change bed linens and towels, ensuring they are fresh and neatly arranged.
* Restock supplies such as toiletries, cleaning products, and linens in designated areas.
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
* Assist with laundry duties as required, including washing, drying, and folding linens.
* Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
* Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests in a timely manner.
Experience
* Previous experience in a housekeeping role within a hotel or commercial cleaning environment is preferred but not essential.
* Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
* Excellent customer service skills with a warm, friendly and professional attidude.
* Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
