Solar Field Manager – Overview\n\nLow Carbon Recruitment Ltd are working with one of the UK’s largest Solar PV Installation companies who are seeking a Field Manager to join their team. The company are a £100million turnover business with 100+ Engineers nationwide who can offer progression and continued professional development down the line.\n\nThe role will be home based, overseeing 10-15 Install Teams covering your local area. Each team is made up of a Roofer & Electrician who are installing Solar PV on domestic properties.
It is a home based role where you will manage your diary as you see fit. You will oversee day to day operations, offer technical support and assistance to engineers and clients, carry out audits and more. A big part of the role will also be arranging and coordinating delivery of materials and infrastructure such as Scaffolding.
The company have 14 depots across the country where materials are delivered to and have a large amount of stock, meaning the arranging of materials is made easy.\n\nYou will also deal with customer queries and complaints, finding a suitable resolution as quickly as possible. Similarly, you will work with the Engineers day to day to overcome problems they may be experiencing.\n\nThe company operate a bonus structure based on number of installs completed per week. You get a bonus for reaching 100% of your install target and a larger bonus increasing in increments from 125% over target to 150%, 175% and 200% over.
