Social Care Worker (Reablement Overnight Service)
Location and Working Hours
Captain's Road Social Work Centre
Salary: £27,257 - £29,850 (pro‑rata for part‑time)
Hours: 27 per week
Shift pattern: 3 nights on / 6 nights off between 9:30 pm – 7:00 am
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the development of a personal plan detailing personal care and support required, ensuring the health, well‑being and emotional needs of service users are met and their individual outcomes are achieved.
* Monitor and review individual residents’ personal plans as they pertain to overnight care, and take responsibility for meeting the service users’ assessed needs as part of a multi‑disciplinary team.
* Provide a personal care service that aligns with the policies, procedures and standards set by the Department, the Scottish Commission for the Regulation of Care, and the S.S.S.C.
Qualifications and Checks
* Regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
* Preferred candidate will join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check.
* Individuals who have spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years must obtain an Overseas Criminal Record Check.
* An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the satisfactory outcome of these pre‑employment checks.
