Castell Howell Foods is Wales’ leading independent food service wholesaler with an annual turnover exceeding £250m, servicing the length and breadth of Wales, the Border Counties and the South West of England. We currently have a vacancy for a Cashier/Sales Ledger Administrator based at our Cross Hands depot. Main Duties and Responsibilities:Reporting to the Financial Controller, this is an exciting opportunity to join an experienced sales ledger team, dealing directly with customers and internal teams and is a role suited to an individual with proven experience in finance roles. The role requires strong communication skills along with a commitment to accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.The Company operates a specialist food wholesale ERP system for which you will be given full training, you should also have a good level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel. Duties to include:Management and reconciliation of cash receivedGeneral sales ledger administration Any related administrative and finance tasks as requiredWhat we offer:A full-time position working Monday-Friday 08:30-17:00 (37.5 hours), core hours may be flexible.
