Salary awarded is based on skills assessment at interview.
This role is available full-time for 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday, or part-time with a minimum coverage of 28 hours per week. Flexible or compressed working hours are available.
This role is office-based.
Responsibilities include:
* Designing, building, and testing electronic circuits and printed circuit boards.
* Collaborating with a product development team on hardware products and solutions to enhance security.
* Creating and maintaining electronic hardware for custom-designed security products to meet partner needs.
* Modifying existing designs and working with multidisciplinary teams on new product development.
* Participating in training and development, including external courses and innovation projects.
More About You
To be successful, you will have:
* Experience in designing and testing analogue, digital, and microcontroller-based systems.
* An understanding of product and system design and development processes.
* Relevant work experience or qualifications, such as an HND in electrical/electronic engineering.
Preferred but not essential qualifications include further electrical/electronic or mechanical engineering degrees, experience with electronic schematic capture and PCB design, RF design, EMC, signal integrity, and knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes.

Using your skills, you will:
* Design, develop, and document high-quality electronic PCB systems.
* Verify designs through testing and peer reviews.
* Support products and investigate defects.
* Contribute to library parts creation and project planning.
