School Administrator - Term Time Work Salary: £21,354.48 Per Annum (Term Time Only) Permanent, Full-Time position (Monday – Friday 08:30 – 16:30pm with one weekly 17:00 finish, term time only) We are looking to recruit an experienced and highly organised School Administrator to support our Head Teacher and school staff in the day-to-day administration and running of the school. The Fitzroy Academy is an Independent Special Needs School in a beautiful setting near Shrewsbury, providing high-quality personalised education for students with a range of learning needs including Autism, Learning Disabilities, and associated social, emotional, mental health needs. Key Responsibilities Provide confidential administrative and organisational support to the Head Teacher and school. Be the first point of contact for telephone, email and visitor enquiries. Maintain accurate student and staff information using the school’s management information system. Oversee office administration and co-ordinate efficient systems of working. Monitor and track the school budget and petty cash. Organise and oversee property compliance checks and maintain accurate records. Check and maintain first aid boxes and supplies. Provide administration support to the SENCO and teachers. Manage vehicle maintenance bookings (MOTs, servicing, repairs). Support report preparation, documentation, and minute taking. Maintain oversight of the school site and raise issues promptly with the Head Teacher. Professional Attributes We are looking for someone who is: Confidential, organised, flexible, and professional.
