We’re excited to be looking for an experienced, confident, and people-focused IT Project Manager to join our growing team at Veterinary IT Services, a specialist Managed Service Provider dedicated exclusively to supporting the UK veterinary industry.
Our projects range from Microsoft 365 migrations and network upgrades to full site rollouts and infrastructure modernisation.
We have strong technical capability and clear processes in place.
What we now need is someone to bring discipline, clarity and structure to project delivery, and grow with us as we scale.
The Role
We are looking for a highly organised and confident IT Project Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day management of our Professional Services projects.
This is not an admin-only role.
You will be responsible for ensuring:
* Projects start with clear scope and deliverables
* Clients receive structured, proactive communication
* Engineers know exactly what they are delivering
* Scope changes are documented and controlled
* Projects move forward without drift
You will work closely with our leadership team and engineers to ensure projects are delivered professionally, clearly and profitably.
This role has a clear pathway to becoming a Project Manager as the business grows.
What You’ll Be Doing Project Coordination
* Organise and schedule project work with internal engineers
* Track milestones, tasks and deadlines
* Maintain accurate project documentation
* Ensure risks and blockers are identified early
Client Communication
* Act as the main point of contact for clients during project delivery
* Provide regular structured updates
* Clarify deliverables and timelines
* Manage expectations professionally
Scope & Change Control
* Ensure project scope is clearly documented and agreed
* Log and manage change requests
* Escalate commercial decisions where required
* Support margin protection through structured variation processes
Internal Alignment
* Ensure engineers understand project scope and objectives
* Coordinate resources efficiently
* Keep leadership informed of progress and risks
What We’re Looking For

You should be:
* Naturally organised and structured
* Confident communicating with clients
* Calm under pressure
* Comfortable asking clarifying questions
* Commercially aware and detail-oriented
* Keen to grow into a more senior project role
Experience required:
* 2–4 years experience in project coordination or project support
* Experience within IT services, telecoms, technical environments or similar is desirable
* Familiarity with project management tools and tracking systems
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
