Your Role as a Social Worker:
* Providing accurate and objective advice and support to parents to enable families to thrive.
* Building meaningful, professional, and respectful relationships with families, leading assessment processes, and completing comprehensive assessments of parenting capacity.
* Managing a manageable caseload to get to know families well and tailor assessments to meet their needs.
* Receiving social work qualified line management, supervision, and support from dedicated practice managers.
* Accessing legal advice, bespoke training, and development opportunities within the social work service.
* Providing evidence-based, analytical, and comprehensive parenting assessments with clear recommendations for permanency planning.
Our Ideal Candidate should:
* Hold a Social Work Qualification.
* Be registered with Social Work England.
* Have at least 1 year’s post-qualifying experience with children and families.
* Be willing and able to work across multiple family assessment centres.
* Have experience in preparing high-quality parenting assessment reports for court.
* Be experienced in working with families to complete robust parenting assessments, demonstrating honesty, objectivity, and openness.
* Be willing to work as part of a team to identify and support parents’ needs and skills.
