Overview

Homecare Medicine services allow patients to receive treatment within their own home via third‑party providers, reducing hospital attendances and improving independence. The successful candidate will support the processing of Homecare Medicine prescriptions, liaise with 3rd‑party home‑care providers and clinical teams to ensure timely receipt of medicines, monitor and maintain the Pharmacy Tracking System, and contribute to workflow organisation so that orders and invoices are processed promptly. They will also liaise with the procurement team to support ad‑hoc functions and projects that improve the service. Overall – ensure you promote your abilities and skills.

Position Details

This role is a Senior Administration and Clerical Technical Officer in the Pharmacy Procurement and Homecare Medicines team. It is a permanent static home‑care post, but during periods of higher workload other procurement activities may be covered.


Previous Experience Required

* Previous experience with invoice/credit processing and working with finance issues.
* Word processing skills.
* Using Excel spreadsheets and experience inputting and manipulating data into reporting databases.
* Interpreting reports/statements.
* Experience evaluating and translating information from a variety of sources.
* Experience communicating with suppliers/customers over the phone.
* Problem solving.
* Good organisational skills.
