Join Trowers' dynamic Operations team as a General Office Assistant in Exeter. This full-time, permanent position offers a unique opportunity to support the Operations department while gaining valuable experience in a global legal environment. This role is 100% office based.
The Role
As a General Office Assistant, you will:
* Open and distribute post each morning and manage afternoon post collection, sorting, and franking
* Organise couriers and ensure special delivery mail deadlines are met
* Deliver packages locally and handle large volume scanning, photocopying, and printing requests
* Manage stationery orders and assist with file archiving and retrieval
* Provide back-up for the Reception team and replenish catering stocks in staff kitchens
* Undertake other administrative duties as required
The Candidate
The ideal General Office Assistant will:
* Prioritise work effectively and meet deadlines
* Possess strong communication skills, both oral and written
* Be a strong team player with the ability to use initiative
* Have a positive, proactive attitude and be flexible and committed
* Operate autonomously with minimal supervision and have a keen willingness to learn
* Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
* Be organised, self-motivated, reliable, and adaptable
* Have office experience and knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel (desirable)
