Company Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading financial services clients They are currently looking for a skilled Content Designer to join their team for a four-month contract.
Job Responsibilities/Objectives
1. Design and write clear, concise, and accessible content for onboarding forms and account opening journeys.
2. Collaborate with UX and UI designers to align content with interaction design and visual hierarchy.
3. Create and maintain content patterns and guidelines that support consistency across journeys.
4. Translate complex regulatory or operational requirements into user-friendly content.
5. Contribute to the development of correspondence templates (e.g. confirmation emails, rejection notices).
6. Conduct content audits and usability testing to validate content effectiveness.
7. Work within agile teams to deliver iterative improvements based on user feedback and business needs.
Required Skills/Experience
The ideal candidate will have the following:
1. Proven experience as a UX Content Designer, UX Writer, or similar role.
2. Strong portfolio demonstrating content design for digital forms, onboarding flows, or transactional journeys.
3. Familiarity with GOV.UK content design principles and accessibility standards.
4. Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams.
5. Ability to simplify complex information and write for diverse audiences.
6. Comfortable using design tools (e.g. Figma, Sketch) and content management systems.
7. Excellent stakeholder communication and facilitation skills
Desirable Skills/Experience
Although not essential, the following skills are desired by the client:
1. Experience in financial services or regulated industries.
2. Familiarity with tools like Experian PCCA or Hopewiser for address validation and personalisation
