Job Description:
We have a fantastic opportunity for a results-focused travel industry professional to join a leading Tour Operator as a Regional Agency Sales Manager. Covering the Midlands, this role involves working as an integral part of the Sales Team to maintain and increase sales of our client’s products to UK Travel Agents.
The successful candidate will develop and build on existing relationships to ensure continued support of our client’s products. They’ll develop new business opportunities and plan and carry out sales and marketing activities, including training and presenting on new products to ensure agents have a full understanding of the available offerings.
This role suits those with a strong travel industry background, previous field-sales experience, and excellent relationship-building skills. Key Responsibilities:
1. Arrange meetings with agents, ensuring regular visits across the region.
2. Maintain close relationships with existing travel agent partners.
3. Identify and develop new business opportunities within the region.
4. Lead overseas FAM trips and represent the company at UK or overseas events.
5. Collaborate with partners to create marketing and promotional plans to boost mutual business.
6. Explore all avenues to develop new trade partnerships.
7. Analyze market data and present findings at regional sales meetings.
8. Support local marketing activities such as product launches, events, and exhibitions.
9. Assist the Marketing team with promotional activities.
10. Monitor market and competitor activities, providing relevant insights.
11. Build and maintain a database of agents for targeted communications.
