Description: The ideal candidate will be degree qualified or HND/HNC. You should have analogue circuit design capabilities where you will be able to design, develop, repair, assemble plus test on component level and have experience in electronic test equipment and measurement techniques. You will play a key role in designing and developing Medical Electronic products from initial concept to final production. Support, design and repair, testing and calibration of existing products in service. You will be utilising your skills, to Design Digital & Analogue circuitry, using RF methods, PCB and Schematic Capture. A keen interest in applied life sciences, Biomedical engineering would be very beneficial Ideal Key skills: - Electronic Design Engineer - Digital & Analogue - Multi layer PCB Design - Produce Bill of material (BOM) - Design of Microprocessor controlled electronic circuitry - Design communication interfaces and power supplies - Design of instruments with intensive computational demands - Testing & Fault Finding at board level - Experience / Knowledge using Altium PCB layout software - Schematic Capture - Software C++ - Knowledge in programming - Algorithm development, and real-time data analysis and display - Microcontroller Programming - Experience in digital image processing software development is also desirable. - Matlab software development for 3D image reconstruction - Software programming, development in Windows environment, - Matlab including GUI design, databases, Visual Basic, C/C++, Java, crystal report, HTML, MS NET framework using C, C++.
