Our client, a fast-paced and dynamic organisation, is a pioneer in engineering and aviation. They have offices throughout the UK and are dedicated to providing innovative solutions in air travel. They are looking for an Executive Assistant to join their Bristol team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Executive Assistant to support a busy team in a company of trail blazers.
Position: Executive Assistant
Location: Bristol, Hybrid (3-4 days office-based / 1-2 days WFH)
The Executive Assistant will primarily support the Chief Operating Officer and Engineering Director. You will be based in Bristol and work alongside a team of four PAs—two in Bristol and two in London.
Key responsibilities:
* Proactively manage inboxes, ensuring timely responses and prioritisation of actions.
* Manage complex diaries, coordinating meetings across multiple time zones with the wider assistant team.
* Prepare briefing materials and documentation for executives.
* Ensure seamless meeting execution, including planning, logistics, and follow-up.
* Arrange domestic and international travel, including itineraries and contingency plans.
* Coordinate quarterly board meetings, including agendas, board packs, and logistics.
* Support internal and external event planning and delivery.
* Process and reconcile expenses in line with company policy.
Experience:
* Proven experience supporting senior leadership in fast-paced environments.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Highly organised with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
* Team-oriented with a collaborative approach.
* Positive, proactive, and solution-focused attitude.
* Experience in tech, engineering, or consumer product sectors is preferred.
* Previous experience supporting multiple executives and leading company events.
