About the Role: As an Architectural Technician, you will support project delivery from early design development through to on-site execution. Your role will be hands-on and varied, including: Producing detailed design and technical drawing packages in AutoCAD Preparing planning, building regulation and construction documents Ensuring compliance with UK Building Regulations, planning protocols and CDM/H&S requirements Undertaking site inspections, liaising with contractors, and resolving technical queries Supporting senior staff across multiple RIBA stages from feasibility through to completion Coordinating with clients, engineers, planning authorities and wider project stakeholdersAbout You: We're looking for a technically strong, proactive professional who enjoys full project involvement. Ideally, you will bring: Proven UK experience as an Architectural Technician/Technologist (approx. 8 years) Advanced AutoCAD skills plus competency in 3D modelling/presentation tools (SketchUp, Adobe Suite etc.) Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations, construction methods and CDM regulations Confidence in site visits, contractor coordination and solving technical issues Excellent communication, organisation and attention to detail Relevant qualification in Architecture, Architectural Technology or Construction (HNC/HND/Degree) CIAT membership or eligibility (desired) Full right to work in the UK and a valid UK driving licenceWhy Join?
