Are you passionate about making a difference in people’s lives? We are looking for experienced and compassionate Mental Health Support Workers to join our supported living services in Barrow-in-Furness.
The Role involves supporting adults aged 18+ with mental health needs to live independently in their own homes or within supported accommodation. Your role will include:
* Promoting independence through daily living skills such as cooking, shopping, budgeting, cleaning, and personal care.
* Supporting individuals to maintain their tenancy and manage responsibilities.
* Encouraging confidence, social inclusion, and positive relationships.
* Assisting with reintegration into independent living and the wider community.
* Delivering person-centred care in line with individual support plans.
About the Service: Our supported living accommodation includes a block of self-contained flats, fully furnished and designed to help people regain independence. Stays typically last between 6 months and 2 years, with tailored support averaging 12+ hours per week.
Shifts Available:
* 9:00am – 5:00pm
* 1:30pm – 9:30pm
* 10:00pm – 6:00am
