What You’ll Do • Lead with clarity and purpose: Set direction for engineering teams, ensuring alignment with business goals while maintaining a focus on quality, sustainability, and delivery. • Foster a healthy engineering culture: Promote shared standards, continuous learning, and a collaborative environment where teams feel ownership and pride in their work. • Support people and performance: Provide coaching, feedback, and career development for engineering managers. • Helping build a strong team through thoughtful hiring and inclusive leadership. • Drive technical excellence: Work with peers to define and evolve engineering practices, ensuring teams are equipped to make sound technical decisions. • Balance delivery and platform health: Partner with product leaders to deliver at pace, while addressing technical debt and ensuring long-term maintainability. • Build strong cross-functional relationships: Help bridge gaps between engineering and other parts of the business, ensuring shared understanding and effective collaboration.
