Our client, a leading company in the aerospace MRO sector, is currently seeking a Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is part of our client's ongoing development and commitment to maintaining operational excellence. You will be performing maintenance and troubleshooting tasks in line with company standards and EASA/CAA regulations, while fostering a safe, efficient, and collaborative working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform aircraft maintenance within company privileges and Part 66 / Part 145 limitations.
Follow and apply the company's safety and compliance policies, manuals, and procedures.
Issue certificates for release to service, EASA/CAA Form One's, and serviceable tags.
Troubleshoot technical issues and implement rational rectification using approved maintenance data.
Complete assigned tasks within given time frames, providing regular updates on job progress, defects, and encountered issues to relevant personnel.
Lead, instruct, and motivate trainees to maximise efficiency, while promoting cost awareness within the team.
Ensure work orders are accurate and complete, including parts, man-hours, and relevant information for discovered defects.
Maintain high-quality documentation, properly filled and signed according to regulations and procedures.
Job Requirements:
Strong experience in aircraft maintenance and troubleshooting
Good knowledge of Part 145 regulations
Current EASA and/or CAA B1.1 licence holder
Type rating for Pilatus PC12 and/or PC24 or similar aircraft types is advantageous
Team player, self-motivated, accurate, and well-organised
Flexible, quality-focused, and cost-conscious
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Must have the right to work in the UK
