Senior Rotational Clinical Pharmacist - Band 7

The post holder will be an experienced pharmacist who will, within the structured senior pharmacist rotation, undertake departmental as well as ward-based duties. He/she will
 * Ensure compliance with medicines legislation.
 * Provide medication to patients in a safe and legal manner.
 * Work independently but be able to discuss issues with peer group and senior colleagues.
 * Be the lead pharmacist within the clinical speciality on rotation.
 * Actively participate in the delivery of the clinical pharmacy service and medicines management initiatives within the speciality and the Trust.
 * Assist in the planning and development of these services within the speciality and in the provision of financial reports to the Divisions.
 * Professionally and managerially support to the Pharmacist Team Leader.
 * Be competent in and participate in any aspect of the Pharmacy service, be it ward or department based.

Person Specification
Shortlisting Criteria (as per Person Specifications)
 * MPharm or equivalent
 * Registration as a Pharmacist General Pharmaceutical Council.
 * Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society
 * Holds a post graduate certificate/diploma/MSC qualification in clinical pharmacy/pharmacy practice
 * recent UK experience of pharmacy practice
 * recent post registration experience of hospital pharmacy practice with balanced hospital pharmacy rotation
