We are a caring, fun and friendly team requiring an experienced head groom/rider for a private show jumping yard. Creating an environment where every member of our small team loves what they do and are able to fulfil their potential is our priority. We are passionate about the mental well-being of the horses through teaching them partnership and building confidence through every aspect of their care.
Are you someone who enjoys working as part of a team and would also enjoy sole charge of the yard.
Horses range from five-year-olds to grand prix show jumpers. Responsibilities will include all normal yard duties, feeding, tacking up, mucking out and turning out to a high standard for shows. Also lunging, schooling and hacking. There will be the opportunity to travel to international shows. HGV licence preferred but training can be offered for the right candidate.
Beautiful facilities include spacious purpose built american barn (cool in the summer and warm and dry in the winter), horse walker, lunge pen, wash bay, kitchen etc. LE14 3PF
5 or 5.5 day week. Salary will be competitive based on experience.
