Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant for an immediate start, to work on a2-2-1 basis. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and is committed to helping them achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities
* Provide 2-2-1 support assisting with pupil's educational and social development.
* Work closely with the classroom teacher to deliver support across all areas of the curriculum.
* Implement tailored learning activities to meet the pupil’s individual needs.
* Monitor and record the pupil’s progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
* Assist with the development of social skills and positive behaviour in the classroom.
* Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in SEND.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Previous experience working with children, SEND experience is desirable.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Patience, empathy, and a positive, encouraging attitude.
* Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other staff members.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development.
* A proactive approach to learning and the ability to engage children in educational activities.
