Job Description
As a Project Systems Administrator, you will work within the Business Delivery Implementation department to configure, maintain and support systems on behalf of the team and the wider Business.
In this fast-paced role, you will play a key part in providing system administration and technical support to the wider Business. Utilising your well-developed systems experience, you will contribute to the overall continuous improvement of the department.
This is a great opportunity to support and develop within a well-established technical team containing extensive business and industry knowledge.
This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.
Qualifications
* Extensive knowledge of Jira System administration for both Cloud and Data Centre.
* Experience of Confluence including Data Centre and Cloud.
* Understanding of system administration, maintenance and release planning.
* Current knowledge and experience of Ubuntu Linux administration.
* Exposure to SQL Server Reporting Services or Atlassian Analytics Data Lake.
* Proficiency in Power BI development reporting and sourcing data from a variety of sources.
* Ability to identify and resolve technical issues.
* Skilled with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, including pivot charts, PowerPoint and Visio.
* Working knowledge of web technology and development environments such as Visual Studio, SharePoint Designer, SQL Server 2019, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS and HTML.
Additional Information
* Configuring, maintaining and providing technical support for the Jira and Confluence applications operated by the Business.
* Designing, developing and supporting Jira project configurations to facilitate the changing needs of business processes.
* Supporting regular maintenance duties to agreed schedules, including operating system and application patching to BDI environments.
* Developing and managing permission models, ensuring that access to applications is controlled appropriately.
* Providing internal support for business users, responding quickly to questions and issues should they occur.
* Developing and delivering real time reporting using Power BI, Atlassian Analytics and SQL Server Reporting Services, to management and end users, combining multiple sources of data.
* Producing repeatable and ad-hoc management information associated with the delivery portfolios and delivery lifecycles, both project and software, including key performance indicators information.
* Performing end-to-end system testing as a part of changes or upgrades to systems and applications.
* Providing technical consultations as needed and liaising with other teams within the technology domain.
* Supporting the wider PMO team in implementing process improvements, assisting in designing platform upgrades and changes to systems as well as functional testing.
