We are looking for a Senior Manager to join our Public Sector Audit Quality team at Grant Thornton in Manchester. You will play a key role in supporting audit quality, technical guidance, and team development within our public sector audit practice.

Role Responsibilities
* Support auditors with complex technical issues and develop guidance and training materials.
* Act as a regional contact on quality matters and respond to consultations.
* Potentially oversee a small audit portfolio, manage and develop your team, and foster strong client relationships.
Candidate Requirements
* Professional qualification (ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA, CIPFA) with post-qualification experience.
* Experience managing audits of public sector bodies and handling technical matters.
* Knowledge of CIPFA Code, Department of Health accounting manual, IFRS, and audit software.
* Strong understanding of audit standards, the NAO Code of Audit Practice, and the regulatory environment.
