Assistant Accountant - £15 - £22 per hour - Gerrards Cross - Ongoing temporary role (potential of permanent employment) Job Summary: We are seeking an organised and motivated Assistant Accountant who is AAT Level 3/4 qualified or currently studying towards it. Key Responsibilities: Maintain the purchase ledger and sales ledger, ensuring timely and accurate data entry. Perform bank reconciliations and post daily transactions. Assist with credit control, chasing outstanding payments and updating aged debtors' reports. Reporting Balance sheet reconciliation Support month-end tasks such as journal entries, accruals, and prepayments. Reconcile supplier statements and liaise with suppliers to resolve queries. Desirable: AAT Level 3 qualified or currently studying. Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a similar accounting or finance role.
