We're looking for a commercially driven Commercial Finance Lead to partner with our operational and commercial teams, helping us maximise income, drive profitability, and support exciting growth across our business.

This is a high‑impact, highly visible role - perfect for a forward‑thinking finance professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and loves turning data into insight that shapes real business decisions.


What you will be doing...

* Act as a strategic partner to Income Stream Commercial and Operational teams, driving financial performance and identifying commercial opportunities.
* Lead the financial input for key initiatives - connecting data, insight, and strategy to support informed decision‑making.
* Deliver robust commercial analysis across income performance, initiatives, margin drivers, and efficiency opportunities.
* Build business cases for capital investments, new products, and commercial projects - challenging assumptions to ensure rigour and accuracy.
* Own weekly and monthly reporting, KPIs, and variance analysis, ensuring the business has clear visibility of performance.
* Lead initiatives to improve margin, enhance cost control, and drive operational efficiency.
* Line‑manage and develop a Finance Business Partner, fostering a culture of curiosity, rigour, and commercial thinking.


About you...

* Commercially curious, proactive, and eager to understand what drives performance.
* Comfortable navigating a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
* Skilled at balancing detail with big‑picture thinking.
* Collaborative, approachable, and great at influencing without authority.
* Operating with high integrity and a genuine commitment to delivering value.
* Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with significant post‑qualification experience.
* Strong background in Commercial Finance or FP&A, ideally within multi‑site, hospitality, leisure, travel, or retail.
* Proven ability in budgeting, forecasting, and business planning.
* Excellent business partnering skills—credible, influential, and comfortable challenging assumptions.
* Advanced analytical capability with strong financial modelling skills.
* Natural communicator who can translate complex data into simple, engaging insights.
* Experience in hospitality/retail environments is desirable.
* Experience with IBM Planning Analytics is a bonus.
