MEP Revit TechnicianOverviewWe are currently recruiting for an MEP Revit Technician to join a growing Worcester-based team. This role suits an MEP Revit Technician who is technically strong in Revit, detail-focused, and motivated by delivering coordinated building services models across the full project lifecycle.
The RoleAs an MEP Revit Technician, you will play a key role in the production and coordination of BIM models and technical information, supporting design teams from concept through to construction and handover. You will be involved in both new-build and refurbishment schemes, working on projects of varying scale and complexity.
Key Responsibilities
1. Create, develop, and manage detailed 3D MEP Revit models
2. Produce coordinated drawings, schedules, and technical information for planning, tender, and construction stages
3. Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and designers to deliver integrated design solutions
4. Carry out clash detection, model checks, and ensure compliance with BIM standards and project requirements
5. Maintain and develop Revit families, templates, and digital content libraries
6. Support the design process from early concept through to project completion
Skills and Experience Required
7. Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit within a building services or design environment
8. Previous experience working in an architectural, engineering, or MEP consultancy setting
9. High level of accuracy and attention to detail in modelling and technical output
10. Solid understanding of BIM processes, standards, and workflows
11. Confident communicator with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Desirable Experience
12. Exposure to healthcare, education, commercial, or large-scale residential projects
13. Awareness of sustainable design and low-carbon building principles
14. Experience using additional BIM or digital design tools
