Job Description
We are seeking a Finance Assistant to join our team of seasoned professionals. You will be responsible for providing administrative support and ensuring the creation of accurate and reliable data. Working alongside a highly experienced team, you will receive support and guidance to develop your career.
Responsibilities of the Finance Assistant include:
* Checking the accuracy of purchase invoices and nominal coding
* Updating purchase order logs
* Reconciling weekly subcontract costs and resolving queries
* Preparing weekly costings
* Ordering office supplies, uniforms, materials, packaging, etc.
* Reconciling third-party volume data
* Managing the weekly debt report
Qualifications
To apply, you should possess the following skills, experience, and qualifications:
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
* The ability to make decisions under pressure and within tight deadlines
* A flexible and adaptable approach to meet business needs, especially during peak periods
* Effective communication skills at all levels within the organization
* The ability to identify and suggest improvements benefiting both GBD and our customers
* Knowledge of SAP and Road Runner is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided
* Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
* A drive and desire to progress
* Flexibility in work and shift patterns
