Hours: 35 hours per week (Shift Pattern 07:30am – 15:00pm, 30 mins unpaid break, Term time only)
Overview
We are looking for a Permanent Catering Team Leader to join our Edinburgh schools account. The role involves overseeing the daily running of the kitchen and service area, ensuring efficient food preparation, managing stock, supervising staff, and maintaining a safe and hygienic environment.
Responsibilities
* Ensuring the day-to-day running of the kitchen and service area is outstanding.
* Managing efficient food preparation according to menu guidelines.
* Monitoring stock control and supervising 6 members of staff to work within COSHH and HACCP.
* Providing a catering service in a safe and hygienic environment.
Qualifications and Experience
* Cook experience.
* Highly organised, responsible, efficient, with excellent attention to detail.
* Strong customer service skills, friendly, approachable, with a positive work ethic.
* Willingness to learn and support others.
* Management experience not essential.
* Basic IT skills.
* Basic numeracy/ literacy skills.
