Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Hotel Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a warm welcome. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. A background in hospitality and Rezlynx is preferred.
Responsibilities
* Greet and check-in guests upon arrival, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
* Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
* Manage phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, addressing reservations and guest requests promptly.
* Process check-outs efficiently while ensuring all billing is accurate.
* Maintain an organised reception area, including managing bookings and updating guest records.
* Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
* Assist with administrative tasks as required, including handling correspondence and managing inventory of supplies.
Experience
* Previous experience in guest services or a similar role within the hospitality industry is highly desirable.
* Guestline experience is preferred but not essential
* Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
* Familiarity with hotel management software is beneficial but not essential as training will be provided.
* A positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure are crucial for success in this role.
