Role Responsibilities
* Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion
* Supervising and developing junior team members, conducting reviews and providing feedback
* Acting as a key point of contact for clients throughout the audit process
* Ensuring compliance with auditing standards and internal quality procedures
* Overseeing budget management, workflow, and job scheduling
* Supporting senior leadership in managing client relationships and delivering advisory input
* Reviewing accounts preparation work if in a blended role

Candidate Requirements
* ACA or ACCA qualified
* Currently working at assistant manager level within a UK accountancy practice
* Strong experience in audit (accounts experience beneficial)
* Excellent technical knowledge and up-to-date understanding of UK accounting/audit standards
* Good leadership, organisational, and client communication skills
* Proactive, motivated, and capable of managing work independently and as part of a team
