About This Apprenticeship Opportunity
All applicants have the permanent right to work in the UK. We are looking for Civil Engineering apprentices to join our Leeds office. You will work towards achieving a Level 6 qualification at the University of Leeds or the University of Salford.

About The Opportunity
The successful candidate will be provided with opportunities to support on delivering some of Jacobs’ most exciting and challenging global pursuits. You will be provided with on‑job training using the latest software tools and will have exposure to various stages of schemes from initial concept through to construction. You will be expected to assist and support colleagues in the preparation of feasibility studies, scheme reports, and highway designs as part of your development to becoming a professionally qualified engineer. As a new apprentice within our Highways & Civils team, you will have the opportunity to make your mark and influence the continuing growth of Jacobs.
Eligibility & Requirements
* A minimum of 120 UCAS tariff points including grade B in A‑level Mathematics or equivalent
* A keen interest in transportation and engineering
* Strong communication and teamworking skills
* A flexible and proactive self‑starter who’s passionate about developing new skills
* The ability to adapt and prioritise whilst juggling work and study priorities
* Enthusiasm and curiosity to apply your skills to solve real‑world problems
* Empathy and listening skills to help you truly understand our clients’ requirements
* A well‑rounded person – worked in a bar? Been captain of a sports team or volunteered for a charity? Tell us – we’re looking for people with interesting stories and experiences!
