1. Prepares engineering drawings in their discipline area from rough sketches or from general engineering and design information according to established standards and procedures.
2. Create designs and sketch out detailed plans for Electrical and Instrumentation disciplines, with some potential to support Process for P&ID drafting.
3. Plans and carries out technical assignments of substantial variety and complexity. Capable of handling assignments which involve a variety of procedures and techniques.
4. Prepares drawings and diagrams, using computer-aided drafting (CAD) and/or computer-aided drafting and design (CADD) software.
5. Selects bulk materials appropriate to the design application with an understanding of compatibility, corrosion types and suitability for process & environmental conditions.
6. Carries out offshore site surveys and produces survey scopes of work and survey reports.
