Sensing Precision Limited are looking for a Production Assembly Operative to assist with the mechanical construction and production of various products on the shop floor. Reporting to the Production Manager and working closely with the production team to ensure our high-quality finished products are completed in a timely fashion for customer delivery.
We are offering the role as Full Time or Part Time position.
Duties will also include:
* Assembling and surface finishing of our products.
* Checking and quality inspection of own work.
* Packing of goods and building custom sized boxes as required.
* Ensuring your workspace is tidy and safe. Maintain good housekeeping.
* Assist in identifying opportunities to improve current processes.
* Upholding the companies’ ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 policies.
Key requirements:
* Able to read and understand engineering drawings.
* Using pillar drill and working with small components.
* Confident using hand tools.
* Fit and ideally able to lift to 25kg alone unaided.
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
* Flexible and ability to multitask with an attention to detail.
* Enjoys working in a team.
* Good time keeping and ability to work with the minimum amount of supervision.
Other Advantageous Skills/Qualifications:
* Knowledge and experience of cutting, turning and milling of components for fabrication.
* Advantageous to have completed a B-TECH Level 3 or Design Technology in A-Levels.
* Previous experience of working in ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 environment.
* Clean Driving Licence.
