About the RoleOur client is seeking an experienced and motivated Temporary Consultant to take over a well-established, warm temp desk within our busy Surrey office. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fun, friendly, and results-driven team that works hard in a relaxed, supportive environment.
You’ll inherit a desk with loyal clients, long-term bookings, and plenty of scope to grow. The role is ideal for someone with a background in recruitment or sales, particularly in the temporary space, who is confident managing fast-paced bookings and building strong client and candidate relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Candidate Management
* Sourcing and engaging with temporary candidates
* Coordinating interviews and registrations
* Conducting interviews and managing all compliance and reference checks
* Maintaining accurate records using our CRM (IQX)
* Ensuring ongoing candidate compliance with support from admin staff
Booking Management
* Managing inbound temporary bookings
* Assigning suitable candidates to client roles
* Confirming and communicating all assignment details clearly
* Processing timesheets and related paperwork promptly
Client Development
* Managing and developing relationships with existing clients
* Proactively identifying new business opportunities through canvassing and follow-ups
* Delivering a high standard of service and communication at all times
Team Collaboration & Contribution
* Working closely with colleagues to enhance branch performance
* Identifying and contributing to process improvements
* Supporting general office activity and team goals
What We're Looking For
* Experience in recruitment or sales is essential
* A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
* Calm and confident under pressure
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Good IT skills including MS Office and CRM systems
* Outgoing and personable with a proactive mindset
* Results-driven, highly organised, and commercially aware
