Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and dedicated individual to join our supportive team in the Specialist Resource Centre, Canolfan y Don. This role involves working closely with pupils who have complex needs, including profound learning, communication and behavioural difficulties.
Part‑time (Monday, Tuesday and Friday)
Main Responsibilities
* Support pupils in their daily learning, in line with individual plans.
* Work closely with the class teacher and the multi‑disciplinary team.
* Promote independence, wellbeing, and social integration for pupils.
* Assist with personal care where required.
* Maintain a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment.
Essential Skills and Experience
* Experience working with children with additional needs (desirable).
* Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
* Ability to work as part of a team and respond flexibly to changing needs.
Desirable
* Level 2 qualification in Learning Support or equivalent (or willingness to work towards one).
