We are seeking a Carer to provide essential support to people in need of assistance with daily living activities. This role is vital in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our clients, allowing them to maintain their independence while receiving the care they require.
Duties
* Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition.
* Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences.
* Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
* Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
* Help with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety during movement.
* Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping duties.
* Document care provided and report any changes in client health or behaviour.
* Participate in training sessions to stay updated on best practices in caregiving.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a caregiver in home care, assisted living, or hospice care settings is preferred but not essential.
* Knowledge of medication administration protocols and patient care practices.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
* A genuine passion for providing high-quality care and support to individuals in need.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required.
* A valid driver's licence
Pay
* £12.60 per hour plus mileage
* Annual Performance Bonus
