Underwriter, Terrorism & Political Violence
We are seeking a Terrorism & Political Violence Underwriter to join our London office on a full-time basis.
The role's main purpose is to support the growth of the UKI Terrorism and Political Violence team by:
* Underwriting renewal accounts, handling broker inquiries, and performing underwriting tasks.
* Participating in renewal meetings, broker training, and business development activities to grow the product line.
* Collaborating with business development managers to explore new opportunities and strengthen relationships.
* Working with underwriters across UK&I to maximize cross-selling opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive UKI PVT business growth and profitability through targeted distribution and marketing.
* Underwrite a balanced portfolio supporting revenue, profitability, and growth objectives.
* Maximize cross-selling and up-selling within Chubb UK&I through internal marketing and relationship management.
* Develop and maintain relationships with external producers.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, confident, and adaptable. Key requirements include:
* Experience in underwriting Terrorism and Political Violence.
* Experience or developing experience in business development.
* Resilience to market and business changes.
* Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* ACII qualification preferred but not essential.
* Minimum of A Levels or higher education.
