We are hiring a Senior Ecologist to lead survey work and support national planning efforts through biodiversity assessment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct and manage habitat and protected species surveys.
* Prepare high-quality ecological reports and EIAR inputs.
* Mentor junior ecologists and coordinate fieldwork.
* Liaise with planning and engineering teams on mitigation strategies.
* Ensure regulatory compliance throughout project delivery.
Requirements:
* 4–6 years of experience in ecological consultancy.
* In-depth knowledge of Irish biodiversity and planning systems.
* Degree in ecology, biology, or environmental science.
* Experience preparing reports for planning and development.
* Full, clean Irish/EU driving license.
