Overview
We are seeking an experienced Solar Installer Engineer to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role, where you'll play a key part in delivering safe, efficient, and high-standard solar installations. You'll be working both independently and as part of a supportive team, with opportunities to further develop your skills in the electrical and renewable energy sector.
Duties
* Install solar panels and associated equipment on residential and commercial properties.
* Conduct site assessments to determine optimal installation locations.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.
* Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
* Troubleshoot issues that may arise during installation or maintenance.
* Perform regular maintenance checks on installed systems to ensure optimal performance.
* Maintain solar PV systems at a variety of sites.
* Ensure compliance with all health & safety standards and relevant regulations.
* Carry out work to the highest technical and quality standards.
* Support with electrical work as needed.
* Travel to different sites, maintaining professionalism and strong client communication at all times.
Skills
* Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to solar installation tasks.
* Mechanical knowledge to understand system components and their functions.
* Electrical experience is essential for connecting solar panels to existing electrical systems.
* Experience operating an excavator for site preparation may be advantageous.

Requirements
* Minimum 2 years' experience in solar installation (essential).
* Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
* Own vehicle to travel to site (preferred).

* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, team-focused attitude.

Pay: £24,420.00-£59,872.76 per year
