We are currently recruiting on behalf of our clients based in Ely. They are recruiting for a full-time Assistant Accountant to join their team. This is an office-based position, and to be successful you will need experience in a similar role.
Typical duties include:
-Ensuring statutory accounts are completed in a timely manner
-Preparing P&L and balance sheets
-Completing month-end reporting and year-end processes
-Preparing financial statements and accounts
-Liaising with auditors when required
-Performing any other ad-hoc tasks for the wider team
You will have:
-A professional accounting qualification or working towards (AAT or Part-Qualified ACCA or CIMA)
-Experience in a similar role
-Ability to manage your own workload effectively
-Sound accounting knowledge and strong technical skillset
