Role Description
The Senior Quantity Surveyor position is a full-time, located in the North West of England. The role involves cost planning, management, and reporting for various refurbishment and construction projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQ), managing costs to ensure projects remain within budget, and providing detailed cost reports to support decision-making. The Senior Quantity Surveyor will collaborate closely with project managers and other stakeholders to maintain cost efficiency and ensure high-quality project outcomes.
Qualifications
* Expertise in Cost Control, Cost Management, and Cost Reporting
* Proficiency in preparing and managing Bills of Quantities (BOQ)
* Experience in Cost Planning and budget allocation
* Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial data effectively
* Familiarity with refurbishment and construction projects, particularly in the care sector, is advantageous
* Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
* Membership in a professional body such as RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) is a plus
* Ability to work collaboratively in on-site environments while aligning with the company’s mission to positively impact care settings
