Position: SEND Teaching Assistant
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: £90-£100 per day (PAYE)
Working Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday
TeacherActive is seeking an experienced and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in West London, committed to providing a supportive and engaging learning environment for students with special educational needs. This role is ideal for a candidate with previous experience working in SEND settings, a compassionate nature, and the ability to adapt learning materials to meet the diverse needs of students.
1. Do you have a genuine passion for supporting children with special educational needs and helping them reach their full potential?

3. Can you work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to create a positive learning experience?
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 support to students with special educational needs
- Assist the classroom teacher in implementing tailored education and behaviour plans
- Support the development of social, communication, and learning skills
- Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience as a SEND Teaching Assistant (primary experience preferred)
- Understanding of SEND strategies and individual learning needs
- Strong communication skills and a patient, adaptable approach
