The Role
We are seeking a Groundworker / Builder who will be responsible for site preparation, excavation, foundations, drainage, and the general construction of home extensions. This role requires a professional who takes pride in their work, is adaptable to challenges on-site, and can ensure that projects are completed to consistent high standards.
Responsibilities
* Prepare sites for construction, including groundwork, excavation, and foundations.
* Build construction tasks for home extensions and alterations, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications.
* Collaborate with other trades and using your own initiative to ensure the job gets done.
* Understand and apply building regulations, health and safety standards on-site.
* Represent TPD well when dealing with customers.
Schedule
* Monday to Friday
* With the opportunity of overtime.
Work Location
On-site in various locations across the region.
Requirements
Position Requirements
* Extensive experience in general building and groundwork (home extensions preferred).
* Ability to read and interpret building plans and specifications.
* Problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing site conditions.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Experience
* Building and groundwork: 3 years minimum (essential)
Licences & Certifications
* Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
